Kaleidoscope School of Discovery admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.  It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

Kaleidoscope School of Discovery encourages parents, students and employees to report concerns regarding employee/teacher misconduct or suspected abuse.  Click HERE for more information on these procedures.  As school employees, we are mandated to report suspected abuse and neglect.  You may click HERE to view more information regarding this mandate.  You may also click HERE to contact the KSOD Administrator to discuss any concerns you may have regarding the safety and welfare of our students.

In what may be an unpopular decision, KSOD has decided to operate from our early release schedule on Monday August 21st due to safety concerns related to viewing the eclipse and the fact the the eclipse will be in full swing as the afternoon after-school pick process begins.  I think that we can all agree that this event has attracted a lot of attention and perhaps the best course of action will be to allow students and families to safely view this event from home rather than have children going outside without the appropriate eye protection during the after-school pick up time.  We hope that you understand this decision and can support what we feel is in the best interest of all involved.

Hopefully everyone is enjoying their summer break!  The school office will re-open on August 7th.  Please feel free to give us a call if you have any needs before that time or you can email questions to  The school's calendar has been updated for the new school year.

OPEN HOUSE - The Open House for new students and parents to meet with school administrators and teachers is scheduled for Wednesday, August 16th from 11 AM - 2 PM. Generally we have a large showing right at 11 AM.  Wait times will be shorter of you show around the 12-1 PM time frame and you will be able to have more individual time with teachers.  We look forward to seeing you then.

We look forward to seeing everyone real soon but until then, be sure to enjoy the remainder of your summer break!!!

Kaleidoscope School of Discovery is a State of Florida registered K-12 private school serving students facing challenges with their learning abilities. All students attending Kaleidoscope have struggled academically. At kaleidoscope, we strive to address these academic challenges with flexible and individualized approaches. More than anything, we are a family here at Kaleidoscope and care about the students we serve and their families. In order to improve student success, several accommodations and supports are utilized as a part of our daily routine. Classroom instruction incorporates careful curriculum selection, differentiated instruction, modified pace and other variations to traditional approaches.

Students have access to after-school tutorial services as needed.  The teachers are the providers of these tutorial services for the students they teach.  This overcomes traditional barriers to tutoring by having the tutoring provided by the student's actual classroom instructor.  After-school tutoring is a service provided at no cost to the student.  In addition to addressing academic needs of our students, we also seek to improve other skill areas important to daily life.  We work with students in developing problem solving skills, interpersonal relationship skills and other skills vital in developing well-rounded individuals.
